Preschool (Ages 3–5): Our preschoolers enjoy high-energy games, creative play and fun teaching that help them understand the Bible.
Elementary (K–5th Grade): Our elementary kids experience an imaginative journey through Scripture with interactive lessons and games.
When you arrive on Sunday, head straight to the Kids Check-In area where our stations will be ready to welcome you.
We recommend downloading the Church Center app ahead of time so you can use our quick and easy online check-in process.
Once your children are in our system, you can check them in on your mobile device before or when you arrive.
After checking in, scan the QR code from your app at one of our tablets to print your child’s name tag and receive a matching pickup code.
For your child’s safety, the matching pickup code must be shown at dismissal before your child is released.
If this is your first visit, stop by the “New Here?” sign and our volunteers will help you register – or you can pre-register online before arriving.
At Blue Ridge Kids, we strive to make church your child’s favorite day of the week. Through caring, well-trained volunteers, engaging technology, fun activities, and thoughtfully designed environments, we share the timeless truth of God’s love in ways kids can understand and enjoy.
Blue Ridge Kids serves children from birth through 5th grade across six age-appropriate environments: 0–12 months, 12–24 months, 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, 4–5-year-olds and Kindergarten–5th grade.
We also provide a dedicated Sunday space for Middle School students (6th–8th grade). High school students are encouraged to attend the main service, and both middle and high school students are invited to join Blue Ridge Students on Wednesday nights. Click here for more info on our student ministry.
At Blue Ridge Kids, we teach foundational biblical truths in exciting, age-appropriate environments. Using relevant, engaging curriculum, we help children understand who God is, who Jesus is, and what it means to follow Him in everyday life. We also encourage parents to partner with us by continuing faith conversations at home throughout the week, just as Scripture calls us to do (Deuteronomy 6:5–9).
You can use the Parent Cue App! Simply download the app, connect with our church and add your child(ren) by age. The app will then provide lesson materials appropriate for each child’s age, so you can follow along with what they’re learning on Sundays.
Safety and security are top priorities at Blue Ridge Kids. We use a secure check-in and pickup system to ensure every child is accounted for throughout their time with us, including matching codes at dismissal. All staff and volunteers complete background checks and work together to provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for your child.
We hope you feel confident and comfortable having your child participate in the Blue Ridge Kids experience, where they will learn and engage at their age and stage. If you prefer to attend the adult worship service with your young child, we invite you to use our family viewing room located next to the Kids Check-In area.
If your child needs you during the service, your pickup number will be displayed on the screen in the worship center. If you see your number, please return to your child’s classroom at your convenience.
To help keep all children and volunteers healthy, we ask that children who have experienced a fever, pink eye, vomiting, diarrhea, or other infections within the past 24 hours remain at home.
